5 people go to the hospital following crash in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, VA – A total of 5 people were taken to the hospital following a crash in Henry County.

An Acura TL and a Dodge Journey crashed around 4:15 PM Tuesday in between the parking lot of Walmart and Cato on Commonwealth Boulevard.

According to medical radio traffic, the 5 patients ranged from ages of 1 to 22.
 

It was unclear how serious the injuries were.

The Virginia State Police, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, the Henry County Department of Public Safety, the Ridgeway District Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.

State Police continues to investigate the crash.
