19-year-old man sought for shooting turns himself in

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NC – On Thursday at 7 p.m., Quayvon Tykece Foster turned himself in to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.

We are told he was taken into custody without incident.


Foster is charged with three counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property. He was placed in the Rockingham County Detention Facility under a $100,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on January 9, 2023.

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NC – A 19-year-old man is being sought by law enforcement for a shooting.

The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office says Quayvon Tykece Foster of 305 East Harris Place Apartment A312 in Eden is wanted for shooting into an occupied dwelling on Sky Drive in Madison on Monday.


Foster should be considered armed and dangerous and arrest warrants are currently on file for him, according to the sheriff’s office.


On Tuesday around 2:30 p.m., Rockingham County deputies were in pursuit of a newer model silver Nissan Maxima, but the chase was terminated at the state line with Virginia on Route 87.

Foster was believed to have been the driver of the Maxima with unknown Georgia tags.
