MARTINSVILLE, VA – The Chamber's Partnership for Economic Growth recognized its 2023 Grow Martinsville-Henry County graduates with check presentations on Friday.
C-PEG offers Grow MHC, an annual competition which includes a requirement to participate in a boot camp to help small businesses evaluate their entrepreneurial mindset readiness, write a business plan, and present a business pitch to compete for funding and receive ongoing mentoring.
With this year’s graduates and awards, the initiative has had 275 graduates, awarded 60 businesses with over $420,622 in cash and in-kind funding.

All participants received training at no cost, and any participant who opens a business will receive a one-year, free membership in the chamber.
