
18 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were identified in the West Piedmont Health District on Friday.
Seven cases were identified in Martinsville; two men in their 30s, four males ages 2-12 and a female in the age range of 8-13.
In Henry County, six new cases was identified; two men in their 30s and 80s and four women in their 40s and 50s.
Patrick County added four new cases; a man in his 20s and three women in their 20s, 40s and 50s.
A man in his 30s from Franklin County tested positive for the coronavirus.
