PATRICK COUNTY, VA – A man has died in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Patrick County.
It happened around 7:28 p.m. on Monday in the 400 block of Trents Store Lane.
Virginia State Police said a 2013 Polaris ATV was going north when it had a mechanical failure, ran off the left side of the road, overcorrected and traveled back onto the road where it overturned.
State Police said the driver, Gary Jones, 45, of Spencer, was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
This crash remains under investigation.
