BASSETT- The defensive front for the Panthers just got better with the addition of Bassett edge rusher, Austin McDaniel
McDaniel signed his letter of intent to play at the next level with the support of his family, teammates and coaches.
"He's undersized and has been since day one but his drive and emotion always pushes him to be better." stated Coach Brandon Johnson.
This wasn't always in McDaniel's plans but after further thought, he didn't want to leave his pads in the locker room after his final loss to Magna Vista.
"There's still work to be done and I couldn't let that be my final game."
McDaniel also credited being close to home as a huge factor in his decision.
