MARTINSVILLE, VA – The ladies in pink are ready to give you bargains this Saturday while they fundraise to give it right back to the community.
The Charity League of Martinsville and Henry County will hold its second Spring Bargain Fair on April 2 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 242 Franklin Street in Martinsville.
That is the warehouse near the Clocktower at the Commonwealth Centre behind Chick-fil-A.
The Charity League was started in 1931 and is comprised of over 400 active and sustainer women.
The money raised by the league has gone to educational scholarships, Missoula Theatre, Boys & Girls Club, Girls on the Run, 4-H Summer Camps, YMCA, Cops Kids & Clothes, Grace Network, Smart Beginnings, Piedmont Arts, Martinsville Library and many more.
The bargain fair will have furniture, clothes, toys, holiday, books, housewares, sporting goods and so much more.
Some of the treasures BTW21 found during our exclusive preview this week include a 12 piece LL Bean blueberry dinnerware set, Ray Ban sunglasses and even a Louis Vuitton purse.
A $5 bag sale will be held during the final hour of the sale.
From 1 to 2 p.m. you will get a brown bag and can fill it up for $5.
