As the aftermath of Monday's winter storm persist in the area and Wednesday morning will see frigid conditions, school districts and businesses have announced closures or delays for January 17.

Franklin County Public Schools
The following will have delays:
Martinsville City Public Schools: 2-hour delay
Henry County Public Schools: 2-hour delay
Carlisle School: 2-hour delay
Horizons - Patrick County
Kids Clubhouse Learning Center - Rocky Mount: Opening at 8 a.m.
Patrick County Public Schools will have virtual day.
