MARTINSVILLE, VA – The CEO of Sovah Health’s Martinsville campus has left.
“Dale Alward is no longer serving as chief executive officer of Sovah Health – Martinsville,” Marketing Director Kelly Fitzgerald said.
Sovah Health’s current COO, Tory Shepherd, will serve as interim CEO, according to Fitzgerald.
“We will inform our community when a permanent leader has been identified. As a matter of practice, we maintain confidentiality on all personnel matters, so we cannot provide additional details,” the marketing director added.
Alward was named CEO of the hospital in 2019.
