HARDY, VA – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the suspect of attempted armed robbery.
At about 8 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to Hardy’s Mart on Booker T Washington Highway in Hardy for an attempted armed robbery call.
The sheriff's office said the caller reported that a Caucasian man entered the store at closing time, presented a firearm, and demanded money.
Suspect was dressed in all black clothing and fled the scene on foot, authorities said.
