HENRY COUNTY, VA – The driver of a tractor-trailer has been charged after police said he was speeding and overturned it in Henry County.
First responders were called to the scene of the accident on Route 220 near the intersection of Rockwood Park Road Friday shortly after 11 a.m.
Virginia State Police Trooper E.W.L. Dillard said the tractor-trailer, hauling about 7,500 pounds of plastic, was going too fast causing it to overturn.
The driver was uninjured and was charged with failure to maintain lane, according to Trooper Dillard.
The crash investigation continues.
