Eden Man Charged with Multiple Felony Offenses, Including Kidnapping and Statutory Rape

The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the Eden Police Department, has charged 28-year-old Creshaun Lee Brown of 181 Smith Acres Rd., Eden, N.C. with a series of serious felony offenses.


Brown faces charges of Felony Kidnapping, eight counts of Statutory Rape of a child under the age of 15, and two counts of Violating the Sex Offender Registry.


Additionally, he has been charged with violating his probation as part of his prior sentence from the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections.



The charges stem from a comprehensive investigation led by both law enforcement agencies, with guidance and consultation from the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office.


As a result of these charges, Brown was arrested and placed in the Rockingham County Detention Facility, where he is being held without bond.


Due to the sensitive nature of the case, the Sheriff's Office has not disclosed any information regarding the identity or details of the minor victim(s) involved. This remains an ongoing investigation.
