
Eden, N.C. (BTW21) – Following a thorough investigation, the Eden Police Department Special Operations Division has charged 37-year-old Jermaine Laquan Carter, also known as “Quan,” of 409 Greenwood St., Eden, N.C., with a series of drug-related offenses.
On March 13, 2025, Carter was arrested on the following charges:
Trafficking, Opium or Heroin
Manufacturing/Selling/Delivering/Possessing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park
Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Marijuana
Possession with Intent to Sell or Distribute Cocaine
Possession with Intent to Sell or Distribute Marijuana
Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for the Purpose of Selling a Controlled Substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Carter was transported to the Rockingham County Magistrates Office, where he was issued a $200,000 secure bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 20, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
