FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA
Virginia State Police are currently investigating a tragic motorcycle crash resulting in a fatality.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 23, at approximately 1:00 p.m. along the Blue Ridge Parkway near Painter Mountain Road in Rockbridge County.
According to authorities, a 2024 Kawasaki ZX-4 traveling north on the parkway veered off the roadway, striking multiple trees.
The driver, identified as Tyler Nicholas Willis-Buchanan, 21, from Roanoke, Virginia, was wearing a safety helmet at the time of the accident and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The crash investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected as authorities continue their inquiry.
This is a shame no matter how bad things could have been a young person lost their life on a motorcycle I've heard different stories but I hope a co are wrong but anyway I will never understand why things happen with accidents law and situations prayers are with his family
