MARTINSVILLE – A fawn was rescued from dehydration at Children's Medical Center Wednesday.
Staff member Kendra Humphrey cared for the fawn after finding it helpless in the parking lot.
The medical center said they talked to a wildlife expect who confirmed that the fawn was showing signs of dehydration. They say the expect gave them advice on how to best handle the situation.
Humphrey rehydrated the fawn and then returned it to its mother, who had fortunately returned.
