HENRY COUNTY, VA – The fifth person diagnosed with COVID-19 in Henry County recovered before he received his results.
The man, whose age was not disclosed, developed coronavirus symptoms on March 21 and was tested the same day, said Nancy Bell, Population Health Manager of the Virginia Department of Health West Piedmont District.
His positive results came in Wednesday after he had already recovered.
The source of the infection is possibly due to the patients interstate travel history, according to Bell.
No other information on the man was provided to protect patient privacy.
