HENRY COUNTY – Henry County officials have identified the victim of a structure fire that occurred on Wednesday.
At 1:11 PM, crews responded to the home on Wilson Avenue and found the single-story residence on fire.
Officials say the fire was quickly extinguished and a deceased female was located in a bedroom.
The victim was identified as 66-year-old Cynthia B. Robinson.
The Henry County Fire Marshal’s Office with assistance from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the fire.
The fire marshal’s office says the preliminary investigation revealed that the fire was caused by a cigarette.
The case is still under investigation, pending the final report from the medical examiner’s office.

HENRY COUNTY – A woman is dead following a house fire in Henry County.
It occurred in the 400 block of Wilson Avenue at around 1:10 PM on Wednesday.
“I can confirm that it is fatal. There is a fatality, but I can’t release other information,” Henry County Fire Marshal Lisa Garrett told BTW21.
