
Three 14-year-old boys have been charged after a handgun was discovered at Sandusky Middle School on Monday, February 3, according to Lynchburg Police.
The three boys were detained for questioning that day before authorities filed charges.
Two of the boys were charged with possession of a firearm on school property and possession of a firearm by a minor.
The third boy faces additional charges for the larceny of a firearm, alongside the same charges for possession of a firearm on school grounds and possession by a minor.
Police confirmed that the third boy allegedly stole the handgun from a parent before bringing it to the school.
