COLLINSVILLE – Monday, a Henry County grand jury returned the following indictments (not an indication of guilt):
Anthony Maurice Arnold, 47, of Bassett, was indicted for sodomy of a family member, incest and rape, which allegedly happened between May 26 and May 27, 2017
Ayanna Tenasia Austin, 24, of Ridgeway, was indicted for violating a protective order by entering the home of a protected party, which allegedly happened happened on or about April 5, 2018
Anthony Wayne Bailey, 18, of Bassett, was indicted for eluding police at a speed of 20 MPH or more above the limit, which allegedly happened on or about December 4, 2017
Robert Alfred Blais, Junior, 45, of Martinsville was indicted for grand larceny, which allegedly happened on or about February 5, 2018
Mason Tyler Brown, 28, of Bassett, was indicted for two charges of malicious wounding, which allegedly happened on January 10, 2018
Anthony Lewis Chism, 34, of Martinsville, was indicted for assault and battery of a law enforcement officer, which allegedly happened on or about March 17, 2018
Brian Reese Cochran, 37, of Bassett, was indicted for forgery, uttering a forged check and obtaining money or property by false pretenses, value $200 or more, which allegedly happened on or about October 3, 2017
Michael Wayne Coleman, 41, of Martinsville, was indicted for possessing or transporting a firearm by a violent felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, manufacturing marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute more than one-half ounce but less than five pounds of marijuana, which allegedly happened on or about May 27 and May 28, 2017
Darryl Dwayne Coleman, 36, of Bassett, was indicted for grand larceny, which allegedly happened on or about March 19, 2018
Delano Donte Cook, 24, of Collinsville, was indicted for possession of ammunition by a felon, which allegedly happened on or about March 23, 2018
Ronnie Lee Donovant of Bassett was indicted for violating the ban on sexually violent offenders coming on school property, which allegedly happened February 6, 2018
Samuel Wilson Draper, 19, of Collinsville, was indicted for possession with intent to distribute more than one-half ounce but less than five pounds of marijuana, which allegedly happened on or about September 13, 2017
Tohn Dewayne Echols, 41, of Collinsville, was indicted for four charges of credit card theft, which allegedly happened between December 3, 2017 and January 1, 2018
Samuel Dewey Franklin Jr., 30, of Fieldale, was indicted for grand larceny of a firearm, which allegedly happened between July 24 and August 3, 2017
Gerando Lamarr Gilbert, 62, of Bassett, was indicted for maliciously shooting at, against or in an occupied house, which allegedly happened on or about August 26, 2017
Jay Devin Griffith, 25, of Bassett, was indicted for abduction, which allegedly happened on or about March 7, 2018
Melanie Lea Hairfield, 42, of Axton, was indicted for possession of a firearm by a felon within 10 years of release, which allegedly happened on or about February 27, 2018
Joseph Branden Hairston, 31, of Martinsville, was indicted for possession of a firearm by a felon within 10 years of release, which allegedly happened on or about February 25, 2018
Prince Eric Hanson, 32, of Bassett, was indicted for two charges of assault and battery of a family or household member-third or subsequent offense, which allegedly happened on or about April 25, 2018
Kristina Rouse Janey, 35, of Bassett, was indicted for obtaining money or property by false pretenses, value $200 or more and identity theft to obtain money, goods or services, value $200 or more, which allegedly happened on or about November 24, 2017
Jason Stephen Jones, 32, of Martinsville, was indicted for possessing with intent to distribute more than one-half ounce but less than five pounds of marijuana, which allegedly happened on or about January 19, 2018
Curtis Wayne Jordan, 34, of Axton, was indicted for grand larceny, which allegedly happened on or about April 5, 2018
Dannie McKinley Mease, 61, of Collinsville, was indicted for strangulation, which allegedly happened on or about April 4, 2018
Jennifer Holland Moore, 34, of Martinsville, was indicted for grand larceny, which allegedly happened on or about January 11, 2018
Thomas Jacob Powell, 28, of Martinsville, was indicted for abduction and strangulation, which allegedly happened on or about March 27, 2018
Nicky Leon Rose, 34, of Martinsville, was indicted for failing to perform a promise in return for financial advance, $200 or more, obtaining money or property by false pretenses, value $200 or more and grand larceny, which allegedly happened between April 28 and May 22, 2017 and on or about January 11, 2018
