MARTINSVILLE – Wednesday morning around 12:20, Henry County Sheriffs Office attempted to conduct a traffic stop due to improper license plates on a BMW. The vehicle sped up and lead authorities on a high-speed chase through Kings Mountain Road. Later entering the city of Martinsville on Liberty Street. The male driver of the BMW crashed the vehicle at Lester Building Supply,14 East Liberty Street. Radio traffic indicated that the vehicle was registered to Meeks’ Auto Sales and could be possibly stolen. The investigation continues.
