Hot Rod Power Tour coming to Martinsville Speedway this Sunday

HENRY COUNTY – The 25th annual Hot Rod Power Tour is coming to Martinsville and Henry County this Sunday.


The highly anticipated seven-day, seven-city journey is expected to bring together more than 6,000 vehicles and 100,000-plus spectators throughout the course of the week, making this event the largest traveling car-show in the world!


“Hot Rod is excited to bring the legendary Power Tour to Martinsville,” says John McGann, Executive Editor, Hot Rod. “Our historic 25th anniversary brings us to one of the most historic speedways in the world. Join us on June 9 for the world’s largest travelling car show."


The Martinsville event will take place this Sunday from 12 PM to 7 PM at the Martinsville Speedway and offers free admission to spectators.


For those interested in entering their car, the cost for the single day is $50 plus processing fee for onsite registration.


Registration will be held at the Smith River Sports Complex located at 1000 Irisburg Road in Axton and will start at 11:30 AM.


Car enthusiasts are encouraged to come hang out with the largest road trip in the world for a day.


Events throughout the day include live music from Jukebox Revolver on the FiTech Main Stage, COMP Cams Dyno Challenge, Sponsor Shootout at Dyno, an appearance by Lucky Costa of Hot Rod Garage and more.
