HENRY COUNTY, VA – An employee of Lowe's Home Improvement on Commonwealth Boulevard in Henry County tested positive for COVID-19.

A Lowe's spokesperson said the facility has been extensively cleaned and sanitized per CDC guidelines since the employee last worked on March 21.

When asked during a news briefing on Thursday, Nancy Bell, Population Health Manager of the Virginia Department of Health West Piedmont District, said she could not confirm where patients with the virus were employed.

The employees who worked closely with the patient have been put on paid leave, according to the spokesperson.

As of Saturday, there were no confirmed cases of coronavirus in the City of Martinsville, but there are three in Henry County.
