Rockingham County, N.C.
The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for Cody Warren Purdy, 34, of Eden, N.C., after he led law enforcement on a high-speed chase that ended with him fleeing into a wooded area in Virginia.
The pursuit began on the evening of Thursday, November 21, 2024, when Deputy W.D. Priddy attempted to stop Purdy, who was riding a motorcycle southbound on N.C. 14 near Fisher Hill Rd.
