MEDIA RELEASE | Narcotics Search Warrant


 

On October 23, 2024, at approximately 11:30 AM, deputies from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office acted on information regarding Ronald Dave Robinette III, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, being present at 1349 Log Manor Rd, Spencer, VA.


Upon arrival, deputies attempted for an extended period to persuade Mr. Robinette to exit the residence peacefully. When those efforts proved unsuccessful, a search warrant was obtained, allowing entry into the home.


Mr. Robinette was ultimately found in a small enclosed space beneath the stairs and taken into custody without incident.


During the search, deputies discovered items indicative of narcotics possession, which led to the acquisition of a secondary search warrant.


This follow-up search uncovered a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, a cell phone, and two firearms, which were found to be illegally possessed.


All evidence has been secured and will be sent to the Western Regional Lab for testing.


Ronald Dave Robinette III, 27, of 1349 Log Manor Rd, Spencer, VA, has been charged with:

  • Violation of Virginia Code Section §18.2-456; Contempt of Court


Mr. Robinette is currently held in the Henry County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
