MARTINSVILLE, VA – Meet the Martinsville Police Department’s newest officers.
They are David Koger, Matteu Harper and Alfredo Huerta.
Wednesday, the three men took their oath of office administered by Martinsville Circuit Court Clerk Ashby Pritchett and received their badges from Police Chief G.E. Cassady.
The officers were hired last October and have been attending the Piedmont Regional Criminal Justice Training Academy as recruits.
The police department said their performance so far has been exemplary and they have exhibited proficiency to have earned their badges.
