HENRY COUNTY, VA – A double-wide mobile home was destroyed when fire raged through it Wednesday night.
Firefighters from Henry and Franklin counties were called to the blaze on Tom Manns Drive near Original Henry Road shortly before 8:30 p.m.
Upon their arrival, firefighters discovered the double-wide was fully engulfed in flames.
The mobile home was a total loss after the fire.
The American Red Cross was also called to the scene and assisted one person.
Henry County Fire Marshal Lisa Garrett tells BTW21 News it was determined that there was no need for an investigation into the cause and the owner of the property did not did request one.
There were no injuries to firefighters or the resident.
