Multiple Arrests Made After Vehicle Pursuit and Drug Bust in Henry County

MARTINSVILLE, Va.  A traffic stop initiated by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Interdiction Unit on February 13, 2025, led to a dramatic series of events resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of narcotics and firearms.

At approximately 4:00 PM, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation, but the driver, later identified as Donavan Nibblett, failed to pull over, sparking a vehicle pursuit.

The chase lasted for approximately three miles before ending on Stockton Road. After exiting the vehicle, Nibblett fled on foot, but was quickly tracked by a Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) K-9 to a nearby residence on Willow Court.
