Muse promoted as Water Resources Director in Martinsville

MARTINSVILLE, VA – Mandy Muse has been promoted to the position of Water Resources Director for the city of Martinsville.


The appointment was made as current director, Mike Kahle, is set to retire on August 1 after 15 years of service to the city.


In an article on their website, the city said Kahle expressed his delight at the decision to fill his position through an internal promotion.


“I've cherished my time as director of water resources, and I have complete confidence that Mandy Muse will excel in this role,” he stated. “She has consistently demonstrated her exceptional capabilities in every endeavor, and I am certain this will be no exception.”


The city wrote that Muse has had an impressive track record as the environmental compliance officer for the water resources department over the past four years.


“It is an honor to be entrusted with overseeing the City of Martinsville's Water Resources Department,” said Muse. “I am committed to upholding the exceptional level of service and water quality that our citizens value.”


The city said it is poised to maintain its reputation for efficient and reliable water resources management, providing its residents with the highest standards of service and environmental stewardship under Muse's leadership.
