HENRY COUNTY, VA – The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Henry County is now at eight.
Sovah Health in Martinsville has its first patient hospitalized; a man in his 70s and the sixth confirmed case.
Another man and a woman, both also in their 70s, are the other two cases of the virus.
The woman developed symptoms on March 4 and the man had no known exposure, said Nancy Bell, Population Health Manager of the Virginia Department of Health West Piedmont District.
They received their positive results Friday and are recovering at home.
