MARTINSVILLE, VA – A deceased person was discovered in Martinsville on Saturday morning.
The body was located around 11:30 a.m. in a bathroom at the J. Frank Wilson Park on East Church Street Extension.
"The department is awaiting the results of the toxicology report and will not be releasing the deceased's identity at this time," Martinsville Public Information Officer Kendall Davis said.
Davis added that authorities believe no foul play is suspected.
The cause of death is unknown at this time.
