One man, four women test positive for COVID-19 in Henry County



HENRY COUNTY, VA – The West Piedmont Health District reported five confirmed COVID-19 cases in Henry County on Friday evening.


The district's Population Health Manager, Nancy Bell said the coronavirus cases were a man in his 40s and four women, one in her 20s and three in their 50s.


That brought the county's total to 99 cases with eight hospitalizations and three deaths.


Martinsville has a total of 38 cases, including six hospitalizations and one death.


In Franklin County, there are 35 cases with four hospitalizations and two deaths.


Patrick County remained at 16 cases with no hospitalizations or deaths.
