Authorities identify woman killed in Henry County crash last Tuesday

HENRY COUNTY, VA – The Virginia State Police have revealed the identity of a woman killed in a crash in Henry County last Tuesday.


It happened around 3:25 a.m. near the intersection of Greensboro Road and Morehead Avenue.


State police say a 1992 Honda Accord was going north on Greensboro Road when it ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.


28-year-old Katrina Gibson, of Greensboro, NC, was not wearing a seatbelt, was fully ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, according to police.


The crash remains under investigation.

HENRY COUNTY, VA – One person died in a early Tuesday morning crash in Henry County.


Authorities were called to Greensboro Road near Morehead Avenue at around 3:25 a.m.


According to Virginia State Police, the single-vehicle accident claimed the life of the only person inside.
