COLLINSVILLE, VA – One person was transported the hospital after they were shot at a Collinsville gas station on Saturday night.
First responders were called at around 11:37 p.m. to the Marathon gas station on Virginia Avenue after a person was shot in the leg.
According to the 9-1-1 center, an Audi SUV was seen fleeing from the scene and led police on a pursuit.
The driver of the Audi was arrested after he crashed and led police on a foot pursuit on Jones Ridge Road in Axton.
The victim was taken to Sovah Health in Martinsville.
The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
