Henry County, Va. (BTW21) — Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) has officially named Justin Case as its new head wrestling coach, effective immediately.

Case takes over the position following the recent departure of Coach Chad Lange, who stepped down last week.

"We are thrilled to have Coach Case leading our wrestling program," said Brian Henderson, P&HCC Assistant Vice President for Student Engagement and Athletic Director. "Justin’s passion for the sport, leadership skills, and ability to develop student-athletes both on and off the mat make him the perfect fit to take our program to the next level."

Case, a Martinsville native, has been a key figure in the P&HCC wrestling program, having served as the Associate Head Coach prior to his promotion.

His deep ties to the area and experience coaching at the college level position him well to build on the program's success.

A standout high school wrestler, Case earned two North Carolina state placements and captained his team to back-to-back state championships.

His background in both leadership and competitive wrestling makes him a natural choice to lead the P&HCC wrestling team as it continues to strive for excellence.

Under Case’s leadership, P&HCC looks to continue its tradition of developing strong athletes, both on the mat and in the classroom.

Fans and supporters of the program are excited to see what the future holds under the guidance of a coach with such a rich wrestling background and commitment to student-athlete development.
