PATRICK COUNTY, VA – A woman contracted COVID-19 from a known household case making it the second confirmed case in Patrick County.
The woman in her 60s had exposure to a known household case, said Nancy Bell, Population Health Manager of the Virginia Department of Health West Piedmont District.
The patient is isolated at home.
Her close contacts have been identified, according to Bell.
