AXTON, VA – A portion of Giles Road in Axton will be closed to through traffic most of the month.
VDOT says that beginning on March 9, Giles Road from the intersection of Irisburg Road will be closed for a pipe replacement.
Weather permitting, the road is expected to be re-opened by March 23, according to VDOT.
During this time, a detour will be utilized and directional signs will be in place to assist the traveling public.
