On June 14, 2024, the Southeast Roanoke, the Star City Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, in collaboration with the City of Roanoke Violence Suppression Unit, executed narcotics search warrants leading to significant arrests.
Nathan Shane Dooley of Roanoke was identified as a narcotics dealer following controlled buys of suspected Fentanyl.
Authorities conducted operations at locations on Dale Ave SE and 19th Street SE, seizing substances including suspected Fentanyl, methamphetamine, and firearms.
Dooley, 22, and Stephanie Elaine Mills, 32, both from Roanoke, were arrested and face multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute Fentanyl and firearm-related offenses.
Additionally, two individuals were arrested on unrelated warrants during the operation.
Dooley and Mills are held without bond at the Roanoke Adult Detention Center, with further charges pending consultation with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.
The task force, comprised of multiple law enforcement agency personnel, continues investigating the case.
