The Roanoke Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in the search for a missing 16-year-old boy.
Preston Thomas Young was reported missing on Friday, January 10, and was last seen at the Vinton Library on Thursday, January 16, according to authorities.
Young is described as being 5’6” tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, with red hair and hazel eyes. He was last reported wearing a black t-shirt, a black puff jacket, gray sweatpants, and black Nike shoes.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen Preston or has information about his whereabouts to come forward. Tips can be submitted by calling the Roanoke Police Department at (540) 853-2212.
As the search continues, Roanoke Police encourage residents to remain vigilant and report any information that could help bring Preston home safely.
