FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA – The northbound lanes of Route 220 near Henry Road were closed after a vehicle crashed into a fire truck on Thursday morning.
Fork Mountain volunteers told BTW21 News at the scene that a vehicle struck their fire apparatus truck while they were working a prior accident.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital, according to volunteers.
VDOT detoured traffic onto Route 609.
