
The increase of the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the West Piedmont Health District continued on Tuesday evening.
Nancy Bell, spokesperson for the district, identified four new cases in Martinsville, two in Henry County and one in Patrick County.
Three males and one female, which includes a youngster between the ages of five and 10 tested positive for the coronavirus in Martinsville.
Bell said the others' age range from 20s and 40s.
In Henry County, two women ages 50s and 60s tested positive.
Patrick County's reported case was a woman in her 40’s.
That brings the total to 50 cases in Henry County, 20 cases in Martinsville, and 10 in Patrick County.
