UPDATE: The Franklin County Sheriff's Office reported at 10 pm on Tuesday that Jake Brubaker has been located safely.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA – The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old.
Jake Brubaker was last seen around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday on Bowie Lane near the Muddy Fork Road area, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Brubaker is a Caucasian male with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes.
He is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds.
Authorities say Brubaker was last seen wearing blue jeans, boots, and a navy/gray t-shirt. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jake Brubaker, is asked to contact the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at 540-483-3000.
