HENRY COUNTY – A man is dead after being hit by a van in Henry County on Monday.
The incident happened at 8:24 PM in the 2500 block of Figsboro Road near the intersection of Fairlane Drive.
According to police, a 2002 Econoline E-150 was traveling north on Figsboro Road when the vehicle struck a pedestrian "which was in the roadway; crossing the travel lane."
Police identified the victim as 72-year-old Thomas Louis Wagner of Figsboro Road.
No charges are pending against the female driver of the van.
This crash remains under investigation.
