
Wednesday evening was no different for the West Piedmont Health District to report the climb in confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Nancy Bell, the district's Population Health Manager, announced three new cases in Henry County and another one in Patrick County.
Bell said Henry County's cases are one female and two males with ages ranging from teens to 30s.
Patrick County's reported case was a woman in her 50s.
That brings the total to 53 cases in Henry County, and 11 in Patrick County.
20 cases have been reported in Martinsville.
