PATRICK COUNTY, VA – Three Patrick County Public Schools employees tested positive for COVID-19, Superintendent Dean Gilbert confirmed on Thursday.
Gilbert said contact tracing has occurred and those with close contact to the infected individuals will be notified.
The superintendent said they continue to comply with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the local health department.
Gilbert did not say how each employee that tested positive for the virus serves the school division.
Patrick County has 106 coronavirus cases, with 18 hospitalizations and three deaths.
