Trick or Treat! Halloween happenings in Martinsville-Henry County

We are sad to share this news with you. Unfortunately, we are not hosting Family Fun Night at BTW21 this year for many reasons. We are in the process of restructuring, revamping our news department, installing and experimenting with new technology and have began planning our 20th year anniversary. We were unable to give Family Fun Night 2019 our undivided attention. It’s with a sad heart, after hosting for 17 years that we turn the page and plan for new adventures in 2020. This annual event has truly made an impact on our community and has provided a safe haven for children for years.

The following Halloween happenings are scheduled in the Martinsville-Henry County area.

• FREE ICE CREAM: 6-9 PM at Livy's ice cream shop, 2842 Virginia Avenue in Collinsville (Free kiddos for children under 12 in costumes)

• SIRENS AND SWEETS: 6-9 PM at Fieldale-Collinsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, 1827 Daniels Creek Road in Collinsville

• FAMILY FUN-FEST: 6-7:30 PM at the Fairway Baptist Church Gym, 9427 Fairystone Stone Park Highway in Bassett

• MARTINSVILLE UPTOWN TRICK-OR-TREAT: 4-6 PM, you can park in the Broad Street parking lot

• TRUCK-OR-TREAT 2019: 4:30-6:30 PM at First Baptist Church Martinsville, 23 Starling Avenue in Martinsville

• HALLOWFEST: 5:30-8:30 PM at Kingdom Point, 352 Lee Ford Camp Road in Ridgeway

• TRUNK OR TREAT: 5:30-7 PM at First Baptist Church Bassett, 2590 Riverside Drive in Bassett

• TRUCK OF TREATS: 5:30-7 PM at Pocahontas Baptist Church, 120 Bassett Heights Road in Bassett

• TRUNK-A-TREAT: 6-8 PM at The Galilean House of Worship, 5078 A L Philpott Highway in Martinsville

• TRUNK OR TREAT: 5:30-7:30 PM at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 7174 Mountain Valley Road in Axton

• TRUNK OR TREAT: 6:30-8:30 PM at Freedom Baptist Church, 790 Irisburg Road in Axton

• TRUNK OR TREAT: 6-8 PM at Valley Drive Baptist Church, 889 Valley Drive in Fieldale
