Two Martinsville men arrested for armed robbery of convenience store

EDEN, NC – Two Martinsville men were arrested for the armed robbery of convenience store on Saturday.

The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office says two subjects entered the Park-Vue Mart in Eden, NC, brandished a silver color handgun and demanded money.


The suspects were identified with assistance of the Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Eden Police Department.


Yalieq Desmond-Zire Brown, 20, and Jordan Christopher Turner, 20, were charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.


Both are being held in the Henry County Detention Facility under no bond awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.


Brown and Turner were also charged in the armed robbery of The Vault in Eden on Saturday.
