MARTINSVILLE, VA – Two drivers were transported to the hospital after a crash in Martinsville.
The Martinsville Police Department and Martinsville Fire and EMS were called to the 700 block of Forest Street around 12:10 p.m. Sunday.
According to witnesses, a Chevrolet Equinox was pulling out of a driveway when it was struck by a Honda Accord headed east on Forest Street.
Additional units of the police department were called to the crash scene after a dispute emerged between the families of the two drivers.
After police officers got the situation under control, the female driver of the Chevrolet and the male driver of the Honda were loaded up on separate ambulances.
Police said both were transported to Sovah Health in Martinsville with minor injuries.
The road was closed for around an hour due to the crash.
