RIDGEWAY, VA – The Ridgeway District Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire on Glen Oak Circle at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Once arriving on scene, firefighters were able to contain the fire in the garage where it originated.
They were able to get a knock down on the fire quickly.
The house received water, heat and smoke damage throughout the interior.
The Ridgeway fire department was assisted by the Horsepasture Volunteer Fire Department, Ridgeway District Volunteer Rescue Sqaud, Henry County Department of Public Safety and Henry County Sheriff's Office.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
The cause of the blaze remained under investigation.
