HENRY COUNTY, VA – A 57-year-old woman died in the hospital after ATV crash in Henry County.
The incident took place Wednesday around 6:40 p.m. on Spencer Preston Road, just south of Airport Road.
According to the Virginia State Police, a 2001 Honda 4-wheeler pulled out of a private drive and headed north on Spencer Preston Road and was hit by a Ford F-350 which was also going north on Spencer Preston Road.
The 4-wheeler was driven by Cecilia Renee Neblett of Danville.
State Police said Neblett was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where she later died.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Danville woman that recently passed away on the ATV accident was a very good friend of mine. That accident was a heartbreaker!! I am still crying 😢.
